This is defitively not needed. make_inst_disk tets, if you are
using the old format (this is if you have a hostname.info) or the
new format (hostname.tcf) if you use the tcf files make_inst_disk calls
make_info_file (which creates the info, partition, selection files and some
more (alice.cfg and so on).
