no you needn't to to copy all the files in one directory.
just mirror the update tree. Alle rpms will be searched and used (including
subdirectories).
- - kernel-rpms won't be updated eiter there name is beginning with something
different than k_*.rpm,
- - source-rpms aren't updated also.
