No, it's not the wrong port. Though if it is, then my mouse and keyboard
works extremly well with the wrong ports... Not very likely...:)

What I meant was if someone has tested an addin card with USB on. Does
such a card work i Linux/Alpha. Perhaps I will try it, but if someone has
tested and it doesn't work at all, then maybe I will reconsider.
When I used WinNT Alpha the keyboard still locked but NT started anyway
and by the time it started the keyboard was fully functional.
