    Oh I´m sorry, this was a typo, I wrote to /dev/sda, also the line in
    aboot.conf is without " at the end:
    0:2/boot/vmlinuz ro root=/dev/sda2

    as I understood the option -f is followed by the partition number (here
    1 for a) where aboot will write to...
