Um,
So I am trying to put SuSE 6.3 on an ES40 with 8 gigs and eight 9gig
internal disks.
What is the recommended way to get the installer to correctly write
partitions onto the disks?
For example.....the yast installer does not seem to want to talk to the disk
correctly. It keeps complaining about bacd superblocks/or/ too many mounted
filesyste.
When I run "fdisk" from another tty it has no idea what the correct number
of cylendars are on the disk.
If i ignore what fdisk is displaying and just do
3 through 150
151 through 350
351 through 800
801 through 1106
That seems to work but then when I go back to yast installer it is more
confused than before.
