Is the ES40 a machine with ARC-firmware or with the SRM-console?
As discribed in the SuSE 6.3 Book, chapter 2.1.5, there ar two diferent
ways to make partitions an AXP-computers:
1. ARC firmware: do with Yast
2. SRM-Console need BSD-partitions: change to the 2nd conssole with
[ALT]+F2, start fdisk and change with 'b' to BSD-Partiton-tables, and
work on as described in the book
