Sorry I didn't read the list archives to see that posting.
2.2.16 has been posted in updates, maybe it's time to recompile and see if
it's been fixed!

Subject: AW: [suse-axp] XF86 using TGA on the DEC Multia?
Hallo,
As I mentioned in a former contribution to this list, I have similar
problems with sax and SuSE 6.3 on my Multia when I use kernel 2.2.13 coming
with 6.3. It works with kernel 2.2.9. I did not buy 6.4 since I was unsure
if the problem was solved. Now I'm happy I didn't buy.

Thanks to Stefan for providing the xf86.rpm I requested!
Now, when I run sax, I get "using the XF86_TGA server" message, nice SuSE
graphics splashscreen, then sax displays configuration screen, reads all
mouse/keyboard/card/monitor data, and then freezes afterward. No mouse
clicks or keyboard commands do anything (except Ctrl-Alt-Backspace to kill
X).
Is there a magic combination to get this to work? I'm soooo close!
