Subject: unaligned traps, 6.4 and KDE

    Hello,
Finally installed SuSE 6.4, looks very nice and was able to load more of
the software since removing the NT partition from the computer.
But the volume and frequency of "unaligned trap" messages is concerning.
Mostly seem to be caused by KDE. Also some of the KDE applications have
crashed X when I attempted to open them by their icons. Don't ask me
which, I was just curiously trying things out when the screen suddenly
froze, totally unresponsive to any keyboard input. My only solution has
been to hit the soft boot switch. Not elegant.
I did a standard 6.4 installation, nothing fancy except the choice of
software via YAST, with the stock kernel. LX164, with Matrox Millenium
    II video card.
Anyone else having similar experiences? Is there any reason to be
concerned about unaligned traps, besides that it indicates non-optimal
functioning? And fills up the log files.
    thanks, Aron
