    Subject: Troublesome weekend.

    I've tried to compile qt-2.2.2 for Alpha, but gcc bombs out with:

    g++ -D_REENTRANT -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -c -I/usr/X11R6/include
    -I/usr/local/qt/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -pipe -O2 -fPIC
    -DQT_NO_QWS_VOODOO3 -DQT_NO_QWS_MACH64 -DQT_NO_QWS_MATROX
    -DQT_BUILTIN_GIF_READER=1 -DQT_NO_IMAGEIO_MNG -fno-exceptions
    -I/usr/local/qt/src/3rdparty/zlib -I/usr/local/qt/src/3rdparty/libpng -o
    kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.o kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp
    kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp: In function `static class QMetaObject *
    QNetworkProtocol::staticMetaObject()':
    kernel/moc_qnetworkprotocol.cpp:141: Internal compiler error in
    `gen_reload_inhi', at insn-emit.c:5550
    Please submit a full bug report.
    See <URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html> for instructions.
    cpp: output pipe has been closed

    Has anyone succeded in compiling qt, or is it a no-do?

    M
