I think he said he had a Multia. That means he only has one slot.
Also, a PowerStorm card would never fit in the Multia slot.

It's a board order problem.
I had the same problem as my box originally had a power storm card.
The video card has to go into either the first slot or the last, I forget
which one.... but it works in one and not the other... and does not work in
any of the ones in-between (ie as the SRM console video).
