I've had these problems as well.
The nsproblems were due to the process (dns helper) being totally locked
up. Also, Tru-Netscape does not like nscd running. Disable it and try
again.
If that doesn't help, try cleaning your ~/.netscape directory. Other than
that I have no clue.
As for the Swedish keys ċäö, that is a problem. I have it working now,
after installing 7.0 from scratch, but when I used 6.3 and installed
Netscape separately it usually took more than a few tries to straighten it
up. I have no clue as to what I did, but I know it's a tough nut to crack.
Mail me directly (in Swedish) if you cannot get it to work and we'll try
comparing setups..
