Subject: device interrupt: unexpected interrupt 38 -> install impossible

    Hi all,

is there anybody out there who had the same problem
(device interrupt: unexpected interrupt 38) when installing Suse 7.0 on his
    alpha ?

The kernel gets loaded, but then the system hangs.

I found for an alphastation 200 there seems to be a similar problem
    (http://www.unix-ag.org/Linux-Alpha/Architectures/Avanti_install1.html)

I have a aspen alpine board (which is a EB64+ without flash bios but EPROM)
with 21064A Rev. 3 processor, arc firmware V.4.35, 160 megs RAM.

    I had enough fun now.

    Thank you !

    Thomas
