    job.
    The reason is, i have a AS1000 beside my desk which work with SuSE 6.3
    AXP an
    this kind of Mylex-RAID.
    It was a strange way to upgrade the firmware but it work now.

    I'm are on hollyday the next two weeks. At this time i will try to
    complete my text
    which descripe the installation-procedure and send it to this
    mailing-list, SuSE, RedHat, Debian alphalinux.org
