Hi,
due to an advertisement of a local dealer i thought about buying a PCI
Voodoo3 2000 PCI graphic adapter. To check itīs support I had a look at
SuSE hardware database and found that it was supported by the current
X11 SVGA driver (and GLIDE), hurra!
Then I had a closer look at the packages in SuSE 6.4 AXP and found the
dev3dfx package missing!
So, what am I missing ??
Is my impression correct, that the hardware database of SuSE is ONLY
concerned about x386??
If so, why is there no hint that it is ?
Anyway can someone give me a hint about Voodoo 3 cards on Linux/AXP
Tia,
Thomas
