    I have done that too, but when I received retail version of 6.4 and did full
    install, it failed to install, due to lacking egcs1.0.3a

    Did you try released version yet?

    Why does Compaq ccc require such a old thing, as egcs1.0.3a?(or I guess
    later,but)
