Subject: Digital 3305 Install Problems

    Hi.

    I had this problem a while back and now I'm trying again to install SUSE 6.3
    on my DEC Server.

    I thought the problem could be with my DEC firmware but now I have upgraded
    it to the latest version and I still get the error below.

     I have a Digital 3305R Server 500Mhz, 256Mb RAM (NT White Box Server)

    I have downloaded aboot and install from the suse website.

    Created my disks using rawrite.

    I have setup my boot options via SRM I get the follow error below:

    The boot disk loads Ok and the ramdisk starts to load but then I get the
    following error:

    Halted CPU 0
    Halt Code = 5
    Halt instruction executed
    PC = fffff0000310040

    Any ideas. I'm thinking of trading in the DEC for a Intel box, so much
    easier and painless.
