    Hi.

Here is the output from 'show boot*'

    >>>show boot*
    boot_dev dva0.0.0.1000.0
    boot_file vmlinux.gz
    boot_osflags root=/dev/fd0 load_ramdisk=1
    boot_reset OFF
    bootdef_dev dva0.0.0.1000.0
    booted_file
    booted_osflags

I have 3 SCSI Disks, Tape Drive, CD-ROM running off the internal Symbios
    Logic SCSI Controler

To boot I issue the following: 'boot dva0'

The Halt 5 error occurs after the following appears on the screen:

aboot: ok, now starting the kernel.

The screen flashes and disappears then the Halt 5 error occurs.

    Regards

    Craig

Can you tell us the boot command you are using and what the system looks
like (IDE, SCSI disks, CD-ROM etc...). The halt code 5 is pretty generic,
but many times means it couldn't mount the root filesystem.
