I now managed to get the machine booting:
I used the aboot-tga Image from SuSE 6.1
Thank you all for your help!
And here's the next problem:
Wenn I use the 6.1 boot image, the yast
does not recognize the 6.3 module for
the ethernet nic (DE 450).
Where can I get the image for the 6.1 modules?
I know it should work, if I buy the 6.3 CD
(then I don't need the NIC to install linux
and I'm able to build a new 6.3 kernel),
but the time is too short for me to wait,
until I get the CD.
TIA again!
Best regards,
Stefan Gasteiger
