    That's a rather general statement don't you think?

    I have a Hoontech XG PCI working just fine in my LX. I know I've also done
    some testing with SB Live and possibly other. FWIW, the Hoontech is with
    ALSA (though granted it is with 2.2.x not 2.4.x).
