My ens1370 /SB-PCI works perfectly with alsa-driver-0.5.11 on a sx164 and
Kernel 2.4.8 ( 2.4.0 to 2.4.5 worked too). Alsa always compiled with the
special assembler flag "-Wa,-m21164a".
