Hi!
I try to install a 3ware escalade 6800 in my Digital PWS 500 au. I updated
the Firmware and
installed kernel 2.4.16 with tw-xxxx as module. The base system is SuSE 7.1.
The adapter is in
one of the "bridged" slots, not the 64bits. I configured the array in a
x86-box before.
Now the driver doesn't want to recognize the card. I get the following
error:
tw-xxxx: tw_allocate_memory(): Found unaligned address
(...)
tw-xxxx: tw_findcards(): no cards found
Did anyone here experience similar problems with this adapter? Do you have
any hints? Should I
try the card in a 64bit-PCI-slot (this means I have to use another graphics
card, as currently I
have the Powerstorm which uses two 64bit-slots).
Thank You, CU, Lars.
