I've having trouble with keymappings in X. For some reason, in
my konsole window, I'm getting odd keyboard mappings. I selected
Generic-104 key keyboard during the installation procedure, and
I'm using US default mappings.
When I press the '-' key I get an inverted "B" character and several
other keys are acting oddly. I just want a simple Generic US keyboard
setup and I can't see to get this in KDE. I'm using a stock 7.1 install.
I tried several permutations (101, 101/deadkeys, 101/ISO, 104) and
every combination results in the same mapping.
I've never had this problem with previous SuSE or Red Hat releases
and never had to think about keyboard mappings before. Please help
if you can! Has anyone seen this problem before?
-Michael
