Subject: [suse-oracle] Success installing 9iAS Portal?

    Hello all!

    Has anybody had some success in installing 9iAS Portal (v. 1.0.2.2.1)

    My setup is the following:

    - I'm trying to make a minimal install of 9iAS to get Portal running
    - I'm using SuSE 7.3
    - I already have a 9i database installed on the server (I'm installing in a
    different ORACLE_HOME), and I did all the preinstall steps...

    I get some errors about .jars not copied, which I solve by removing .jars
    with the same name already in the directory.
    But I also get a relink error "Error in invoking target install of makefile
    ORACLE_HOME/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk" which I cannot solve...
    If I run the makefile manually (make -f ins_net_client.mk install) I get:
    "ld: BFD internal error"

    Any advice?
