I followed the procedure stated for Oracle 9i on SuSE 7.3, but the problem
is not solved.
If I hit "Retry", I get the same error...
I noticed that there are two files: genclntsh and genclntsh.nostubs in the
/bin directory, do you have an idea why? (I know about the stubs patch, but
I thought the iAS install was running it automatically...)
I tried modifying both genclntsh files. When I run each of them, they don't
give any error and I can find libclntsh.so in the lib directory
But everytime I hit "Retry" I get the same error again and again.
My LD_LIBRARY_PATH is empty, do you know if I have to set it to a specific
value? (I would say $ORACLE_HOME/lib)
Thanks
Quentin

see the advice for 9i on 7.3 at www.suse.com/en/support/oracle/, that's
all the same error, oracle using "ld" instead of "gcc" for linking (and
getting the arguments wrong).
