    Strike that last post. Watchdog daemon, node monitor, and cluster mgr is
    now running on both nodes.

    I reversed the order of the defined_nodes param on node2 and that seemed to
    fix it.

    Its now time to see if the Database Configuration Assistant will work :)

                        09:43 AM RAC results in errors

    I'm running SuSE 7.2 on a compaq CL380 two -node cluster.

    I attempted to configure 9i RAC but recieve errors when I start up node
    monitor and cluster mgr.

    I edited my nmcfg.ora file on both nodes

    node 1 nmcfg.ora looks like this:

    DefinedNodes=tuvok spock
    CmDiskFile=/dev/raw20
    CmHostName=tuvok

    node2 nmcfg.ora looks like this:

    DefinedNodes=spock tuvok
    CmDiskFile=/dev/raw20
    CmHostName=spock

    I am succesfull at starting the watchdog daemon, node monitor and cluster
    mgr on the first node.
    I then try to execute them on the second node. watchdog daemon starts,
    node monitor starts, and then when I run cluster mgr, the other node panics
    and reboots.

    Can anyone help?????

    Here are the error messages in the log file:
