I setup the raw device as following steps;
1. dasdfmt for single 3390-3 DASD. (At this time /dev/dasdd)
2. fdasd to create partition with whole 3390-3 DASD. Cylinder range is from
2 to 5038. (generate /dev/dasdd1)
3. raw command to set /dev/raw1 to this partition device file.(raw
/dev/raw1 /dev/dasdd1)
From that process, I think the raw device size is same as the partition
size which is almost 2.5 GB. Is that correct?
Best regards, M.Kamitohno
