    Hello all,

    I run Oracle8i on SUSE8.0.

    I think you now, my trouble with dbassist is solved. My netasst still
    doesn't work.

    after entering netasst in my terminalwindow simpy nothing happens after a
    linefeed. No output, no errormessage no x-windows with the assistant running.
    It must be something simple like dbassist as on installation of oracle the
    assistant worked and I configured the starter database with it.

    Of course LANG ist unset and DISPLAY ist set to the local (:0.0), where I
    start netasst.

    Any hints from you?
