Hi, I am testing the installation of Oracle with SLES8 and am very
confused about where and what to do to modify values such as SEMMSL,
SEMMNS, SEMOPM and SEMMNI at system startup, I understand that the use
of orarun.rpm automates much of the setup but I would still like to
understand where these kernel parameter modifications would normally be
placed.
I was wondering if you could give me a hand, I am trying to get to the
next level with SuSE but it seems that the boot process is quite
different than other distributions which makes it hard to apply
information that I find on the web.
