Subject: [suse-oracle] Problems with the installation of Oracle9iAS

Hello!!

 

            I'm trying to install Oracle9iAS in a Suse Linux 8.1 but I have
many problems. Now I'm in the step where the configuration tools are being
executed, but when they finish there are many errors. The first one that I
cannot solve yet is:

 

            Oracle Net Configuration Assistant - The application return the
next exception:

 

            java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.io.FilePermission $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/ldap.ora read)

 

            The first time the application runs it cannot find the file jre
in a specific directory, then I create a link to the file java with the name
jre ("ln -s java jre"), then the application runs, but obtain the previous
exception. Could anybody help me?

            PD: I expect that I do not make many mistakes, my English is
