don't worry about as long as you don't want to use Legato Networker Backup to backup your data ;-) (otherwise you should install the requested libs). You can avoid this by deselecting Legato Service during install (maybe only possible in custom mode)

By default Ora 9i uses a spfile (you should read the Ora doc about the init parameter file and the difference between pfile and spfile; for short: setting parameter using spfile can only be done within oracle, e.g by using the appropriate tools); the default path points to $ORACLE_BASE/admin/$ORACLE_SID/pfile
