Subject: RE: [suse-oracle] Problems with the installation of Oracle9iAS

Hello!

I forget saying that I am installing the Oracle 9i AS
Infrastructure and I also have installed the orarun9i.rpm but I still have
the same problem. Are there anyone with the same problem?

            Thanks a lot, Jaime.

I have installed 9iR2 on SuSE 8.1 with no problems. Make sure that you
install the Development tools from the SuSE CDs. Also, you should install
the orarun9i.rpm on your machine first. It sets up all the environment
variables for you and makes Oracle installation a lot easier. You can get it
at: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/commercial/Oracle/ Good
luck. Jaime Zahonero wrote: Hello!! I'm trying to install Oracle9iAS in a

configuration tools are being executed, but when they finish there are many
errors. The first one that I cannot solve yet is: Oracle Net Configuration
Assistant - The application return the next exception:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission

Thanks, Jaime from Spain. PD: I expect that I do not make many mistakes, my
English is poor. :D
