Subject: [suse-oracle] dbassist does not start

Software:
SLES 7
Oracle 8i (8.1.7)

Hallo I have the problem that the dbassit of oracle 8i does not start.

SIGSEGV received at bfffd9f8 in /opt/oracle/jre/1.1.8/lib/linux/native_threads/libjava.so. Processing terminated

Is it a Java problem? Do you need more informations?
