I am using 9.2.0.4.0.

'asunc_on' may not be a target, but following the directions from Zhu, all worked for me.

Hello:

I just looked at my $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk and I couldn't find
any async_on target. I also did an egrep for async_on in all the *.mk files
in that directory. I have 9.0.2.4.0 installed (latest patchset). What
version of Oracle are you talking about that requires this?
