1) If vipca hangs when running 'root.sh' in database installation, you need
internal Oracle patch
# 4045013.

2) CRS can not start services, IF nsswitch.conf have LDAP enable (at last in
compat groups).
Do not turn on NIS, LDAP or other clients when installing Oracle server (at
least on 64 bit servers).

It is definitely a bug, but I do not know, if it is Oracle BUG or Linux BUG.
I wil document it in installation guide.
