This is my first ATA-RAID, so I might be completely wrong.
I created a RAID1 from both IDE-Disks. When I try to install SLES9 I
cannot see the raidset. The megaide module loads, but dmesg shows that
it find's nothing. With modinfo megaide I see, that there are no
parameters to set.
The kernel sees both disks alone (hda and hdc), but no RAID sda or
something.
I also tried booting with noapic noacpi hda=noprobe hdc=noprobe, whith
this the kernel sees no disks at all.
I have seen driver-disks for SLES8, EL2.1 and other systems, but not for
SLES9.
Now, here's my question: What do I have to do, to make linux see the RAID?
