Hi ,
I just observed a strange thing .. I just tried to the same as you
(SLES9 on an Opteron )and I do
Call YaST -> Misc -> Installation Server -> Change -> Add
If dont type anything in source name I can enable Prompt for Additional CDs and
then installation picks up only SP1-CD1 and fails on CD2 .. I had to manually
copy CD2 .
Also I have strange problem my Installation server only shows
Configured Sources
SUSE SLES 9 Service-Pack Version 1
Architecture: x86_64
SUSE SLES Version 9
Architecture: x86_64
What happened to SUSE CORE Version 9 .
Any way to resolve the issue ..
Cheers
