I can't say anything about tdbsam since I haven't used it at all...
However, I've been using Novell Nterprise Linux Services since early beta
testing, and it integrates the NDS very nicely with Linux. All done in
LDAP, which in my opinion would be the natural choice since NetWare NDS in
fact is an X.500 tree in LDAP.

But I won't (and can't) go into details on how to move/merge manually, it's
simply something I haven't done, and I'm in no way that knowledgeable in
LDAP to even try to do it.
