Thanks. The sles-release rpm was missing which I have installed and
all the files are now available.
Surprisingly while performing the installation (autoyast) I had
selected "Full installation" and still this was missing in both the
systems I was working on. Both the systems (IBM Mpro and IBM Thinkpad
R50p) are installed with identical number of rpms and till now are
working fine.
sh-2.05b# rpm -aq | wc -l
864
sh-2.05b#
Is there a way to confirm if the "Full installation" is indeed FULL ?
I might be missing some other rpms which I am not aware of at present.
