I've purchased SLES 9 and installed from the evaluation CDs, but there
was an issue installing raid controller driver (cciss) -- the old one
was locked. Now I can't start the machine (a Proliant ML350 G3) without
loading modules from the install CD first.
After startup, if I try to manually load modules (for my DAT autoloader,
for instance) I'm told 2.6.5-7.97-default/modules.dep doesn't exist, but
my kernel is 2.6.5-7.97-smp (and it and its modules *do* exist). While
I await my SuSE login credentials, can anyone point me to documentation
for correcting the module configuration or re-installing the kernel
correctly?
Thanks,
Mike
