Please provide the build date too. The last version was from Mon Jun 20
21:56:41 2005

rpm -qi samba | grep "Build Date"

If you version is older, please give this version a try.

You might also test the upcoming 3.0.20 release. The available packages
are for testing and aren't intended for production use.

Don't exclude lo! For an example see
/usr/share/doc/packages/samba/examples/smb.conf.SUSE See smb.conf for
the reason.
