Hello
I've got a strange problem: A new user disappears after I restart the
computer!
I use LDAP for users. I created a user called user1 last week which
still exists. Now, I descided to add another user, all works fine, I can
save the configuration in YAST. I can even use the user (on a Windows
Client over Samba)! I can start YAST again, and i can see the new user.
When I execute "/etc/init.d/ldap restart" (=> is this the ldap server?)
the user still exists. But after I restart the Server, the user
disappears! The homedirectory exists, but the LDAP entry disappears! I
descided to change some passwords before I added this user (admin/root),
is this a problem for LDAP? I think LDAP doesn't save the information
correctly. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Bye
