We have SLES 9 + SP1 and all patches applied.

we have solved this by starting the winbind service.

but, now we have other issues

1. logged in the NT Domain OFICINA, if we open the network browser and double
click on a computer of the Samba Domain SUMTEC, the system ask for user and
password. (we have a trust relationship stabilished). but if we double click
on the PDC computer of the Samba Domain SUMTEC, we access all the shares
without asking for user and password.

2. If we repeat the same procedure but logged with an account that exists in
both domains and has the same password (manually added) all resouces are
opened without problems.

i suspect that the samba machine is not giving the permissions to the users or
the grous of the NT domain.

anything to revise or configure?

PS: i'm getting errors in the logs related to could,t create the tdsam
batabase
