I'd recommend getting a 3Ware RAID Card for a real harware
XOR mirror or even raid 5 Cards start at about about
$140.00 USD. Has nice web gui, can send you an email when
the array gets into trouble. Also I use Western Digital RE
(Raid Edition) drives. They are meant to stay on 24x7...
