Yast2 backup is a very good method to _restore to the starting point_, BUT you must verify backup - sometimes it can
create broken xml file (for example, by writing ++ into the xml tag name, because package name contained c++).
But idea is great - YaST2 backup create profile for auto install, and you can run it (auto install) and have system
restored. You can remove 'acrive' part of this file, if you don't want system to restore changed files (but want to keep system
partitioning and configuration only).

YaST backup is not well debugged; be careful.
It is good to 'clone' servers but not to make a full backups.

The bulk data is going to be backed up with DataProtector, i'm looking for a quick and reliable way to restore the base system as a starting point to restore the data from DP if my system melts down.
