If you didn't already have the mm package installed, yast should not have let
you install php4-session alone, no. The dependency check should have taken
care of that. It sounds like a bug

Well, first of all I'd suggest starting yast and going into the package
manager and forcing it to check the dependencies (there is a button for it),
to make sure there aren't any other packages missing
