I have a very small initial ldif file which i've imported via slapadd
(ldap stopped) without any errors. All default groups and accounts
regarding SID's are correctly defined. Proved on other systems.
The problem with the guest account seems to be a sporadic timing
problem with ldap. Sometimes the guest account is correctly given back by
OpenLDAP to Samba and sometimes not. Or respectivly sometimes samba gets
the connection to ldap and sometimes not.

Rebuilding the database is on.
