It should not load any module by default, and it should not stick on reboot.
What module is loaded in your case?

There was a kernel cmdline option for this (as far as I remember).

You can always submit bugs against the openSUSE project, via bugzilla.novell.com.
Wishlist items can also be added to opensuse.org WIKI for instnace.
openSUSE will in turn at some time then become SLE 11.
