We actually use NetVault here on our backup servers (SLES9 and windows). Works quite well backing up several NetWare, Windows and Linux hosts with MySQL, MSSQL, GW and other apps. It has a nice gui or CLI. It was quite a bit less than Veritas and has worked very well for us.
