Hmm, I think you're mistaken: Novell don't have a marketing department.
Never have had one.

Nor, for that matter, have they had account managers or sales support.

High-level strategic planning has also been "inconsistent" for the past,
oh, ten years or so.

However, they do have some excellent engineers working for them.

It's a pitty that the engineers get tarred with the same brush as the
rest of the organisation.
