Do you have reg. key from reseller? If you do, then go to novell,c reate
account (it's free) and register key (their web is not
very convenient, so do not surprise - it is a great system after all); then
you will have instant access.

Notice - always download and install recent service pack (in your case,
SLES9 SP3) - SLES9 release is not stable version, in reality.

PS. When you download evaluation version, you got 30-days key which allows
to do the same; why did not you use it for updates?
